So, again I will state that this is my opinion from my own observations and this is a series of articles that I do not usually put out there, but our country has become so fat and lazy that it is time to offend some of the fat people and get them motivated to get in a better shape than round.

Childhood obesity starts right there with the parents. Now I know we are in a no fault country where parents do not know how to take the blame for what they teach their children, but that is a big load of dung if you ask me. PARENTS ARE AT FAULT 99.9% OF THE TIME WHEN THEIR CHILDREN ARE OVERWEIGHT!

What do you keep in your house and how accessible is it for your children? What do you allow them to order and eat at restaurants? I know someone that works in a daycare and actually had parents drop off 1 and 2 year old with instructions to allow them to have the Pepsi that were sent with them. Are you kidding me?

children should have a very small amount of soda or pop and should be drinking primarily water, milk, and fruit juices. When I say fruit juices I am referring to real juice and not the cocktails that are 10% juice and 90% sugar. They also do not need to put dressings and sauces on top of everything.

They need to be taught to appreciate the flavor of food early on. When you put dressing all over everything and cover all the other things you serve them in heavy sauces they never get to know the flavor of anything but those heavy sauces.

Also, limit their sweets. There are actually children that get to eat snack cakes and cookies all day long. That is insane. Limit this and control it so you will not have any issues. This is a huge cause of childhood obesity.
